The Devices Management page of the Smarter Energy Controls web application provides administrators with a powerful interface to oversee and interact with a network of devices. This section details the capabilities and layout of the Devices Management interface.

Key Features and Layout
Device Information Panel

The central panel lists all devices with the following details:
- Checkbox: Each row starts with a checkbox allowing for batch actions on multiple devices.
- Client: Shows the name of the client company or entity to which the device is registered.
- Point Details: Provides a description of the monitoring point or the device's specific function within the client's operations.
- Data: Displays the latest data reported by the device, which could be energy consumption, temperature readings, or other sensor data.
- Device ID: The unique hardware identifier or serial number for each device.
- Status: Indicates whether the device is currently online and functioning or offline.
- Device Type: Identifies the kind of device, such as a meter, sensor, or control unit, helping categorize the device's purpose.
Device Management Actions
- Add Point: The prominent green button initiates the process to register a new device or monitoring point within the system.
- Three-dot Context Menu: Each row includes a context menu for more device-specific actions like 'View More', 'Edit Device', 'Disable Device', or 'Delete Device'.
Search and Configuration
- Where Search: A dynamic search field allows for filtering the device list based on names, identifiers, data, or other device attributes.
- Refresh Every: Adjacent to the search bar is a drop-down menu for setting the auto-refresh interval for the device list, enhancing the real-time update capability of the interface.
User Account and System Settings
- Admin User: The top-right corner displays the currently logged-in administrator's name and contact email.
- Settings and Logout: Alongside the account information, icons for system settings and user logout are provided for quick access.
Pagination and Data View
- Pagination Controls: At the bottom of the device list, pagination controls enable navigation through the list if it extends beyond the current view's capacity.
- Rows per page: A dropdown allows the administrator to select the number of devices displayed per page.
Usage
Administrators use this interface to track device performance, update device configurations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operation across the network of devices under the management of the Smarter Energy Controls system.
